John Guy, CFP®, is president of Wealth Planning & Management, LLC. Prior to 1997, John was an Account Executive for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, then known as Dean Witter Reynolds Inc.
John has owned or managed equity securities since 1959. He published the book "How to Manage Someone Else's Money" and has written for newspapers and magazines since 1962. He is Past President of the Indiana Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and he served as a National Director of that organization.
John graduated from Depauw University and from American University. He was a Member and Past Program Chair of the Indianapolis Committee on Foreign Relations. John has been a board member of Ballet Internationale, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was chairman of a telethon for cerebral palsy, attache to Argentina during the tenth Pan American Games, and a local and state leader in the Jaycees.
John met his wife, Chichi, during Peace Corps service in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. John and Chichi have four children.
